Accessibility

Accessibility statement for Familienpraxis Tirol: our efforts to make the website accessible and how to contact us if you encounter barriers.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.familienpraxis.tirol.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is largely compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We make this statement voluntarily. As a private medical practice, we are not subject to the Web-Zugänglichkeitsgesetz (WZG, the Austrian web accessibility act), which places obligations on public-sector bodies. We follow its standards nonetheless, because a doctor’s practice should be reachable by everyone.

Non-accessible content

  • Use with screen readers has not yet been comprehensively tested.

What we have checked

  • All colour contrasts meet Level AA. An automated test guards this, so that it stays that way.
  • Every image that carries content has alternative text. Purely decorative graphics are deliberately marked as decorative — the logo, for instance, or a news-card thumbnail that would only repeat the heading beside it.
  • The website contains no documents for download.
  • A skip link to the content, visible focus indicators and the language marking of every page are in place.

We are continuously working to improve accessibility.
