Not all medical services are covered by statutory health insurance. At Familienpraxis Tirol, we nevertheless offer you numerous additional services – individually tailored, transparent and meeting the highest medical standards.
These services also require our time and expertise – therefore, they are billed as private services. For every private service you receive a binding cost estimate from us – before we begin any examination or treatment. That way you know beforehand what to expect, and you can decide at your own pace.

Skin cancer screening – moles and skin changes, assessed with the dermatoscope
We offer professional skin cancer screening for the early detection of abnormal skin changes – quickly, painlessly and using a modern dermatoscope. This allows suspicious areas to be identified at an early stage and treated in a targeted manner. Please feel free to contact us.
Medical certificates and confirmations – when someone needs something in writing
A medical certificate is not a form but the result of a medical assessment. Where that assessment is not covered by statutory health insurance, we bill the certificate or confirmation as a private service.
It helps to tell us straight away what needs to be certified and who is asking for it. Then we know which examination it requires – and you receive your cost estimate beforehand.
Living wills – your wishes documented by a doctor, before the situation arises
Health is a matter of trust – even in emergencies. We support you in drawing up a living will so that your wishes regarding medical treatment are clearly documented and respected.
Fitness and sports medical examinations – for training, work and sport
Vocational training, children’s sports, competitive sports, etc. – we conduct medical examinations to determine physical fitness and issue the necessary certificates.
For the sports medical examination our practice goes by age: for children under 10, an ECG and a physical examination; from the age of 10, additionally a blood test and a medical assessment of fitness for exercise. More on this in our frequently asked questions.
Vaccinations – advice and vaccination, with the most common vaccines in stock
We provide detailed advice on all recommended and individual vaccinations – including travel vaccinations and specific medical issues. We always have the most common vaccines in stock.
The decision is, of course, yours.
Additions to the e-vaccination record – older vaccinations added digitally
Older vaccinations can be easily added digitally. We help you to document your vaccination data completely and up to date in the e-vaccination card – an important step for your health care.
Spa and rehabilitation applications – medically justified, and we guide you through them
Health sometimes requires targeted support.
We assist you with applications for spa treatments or rehabilitation measures – individually tailored, medically justified and with a view to your long-term health.
Travel medicine – the same practice, a second name
Travel medicine advice and travel vaccinations are private services too, and we offer them – under the name Reisemedizin Tirol, where you will find all the detail, from the consultation before you leave to the aftercare once you are back. It is the same practice in Bahnhofstraße, simply the better address for everything to do with travel.
