World Food Day: Eat a Colorful and Regional Diet—Without Any Superfoods
🥕 Good nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated!
Friday, October 16, is World Food Day—a great opportunity to take a relaxed look at what’s on your plate. You don’t need strict rules or expensive superfoods to do this.
🌈 Eat a colorful variety: The more colors on your plate, the more diverse your diet. Beets, carrots, cabbage, pumpkin, apples—fall makes it easy for you. 🧺 Buy local: What’s growing in Tyrol right now is fresh, tastes great, and has traveled a short distance. A trip to the farmers’ market is well worth it. 🍽️ Listen to your body: Eat when you’re hungry, and stop when you’re full. Eating slowly helps with this. 💧 And don’t forget to stay hydrated—water and unsweetened tea are the best thirst-quenchers. 🚶 And don’t forget: exercise! Whether it’s a walk, a bike ride, or an autumn hike—eating healthy and staying active are simply the best team.
Do you have questions about your diet, such as regarding diabetes, high blood pressure, or food intolerances? Just let us know at your next appointment.
